The Transfer Office Security & Safety Industries cooperates with a number of important partners on the federal and European level:
Partners
German European Security Association e.V. (GESA)
This Association was formed in 2007 and today comprises more than 80 members from industry, research, administration and individuals in all of Germany. Their common aim is to organise German interests in the civil security sector and to represent them both on a national and a European level. GESA is located in Berlin.
German European Security and Safety Institute e.V. (GESI)
The Association was formed in October 2009 and aims at being the operational arm of GESA, in order to deal more profoundly and even in a commercial way with the tasks involved with restructuring the German civil security sector. GESI is going to operate on three levels:
- as a think tank,
- as a communikation platform and
- as a project management team.
Members of the Association are leading personalities from industry, the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, the civil service and politics. It is planned to transfer the Association into a GmbH (ltd). GESI is located in Potsdam.

European Airport Security Centre Schönhagen e.V.
This Association was founded in 2008 in order to develop the airfield at Schönhagen, 20km south of Potsdam and with more than 40,000 take offs and landings per year the second largest airfield for general aviation in Germany, into a testing, simulation, training and certification centre for airport security. This project is one of the focal projects in the Security Industries Master Plan Berlin-Brandenburg.
SesamBB – Safety and Security Made in Berlin-Brandenburg e.V.
In the period 2007-2009, this 15 member Association received funding from both the European Fund for Regional Development and the Land Brandenburg. A second funding period has been applied for. Primary projects in the second funding period are to be:
- Secure IT in municipalities (Quick Checks)
- Application technologies for the electronic passport
- Security in open spaces (mass transportation)
- Qualification and certification of IT security experts
